About Dave in his own Words…

Hi everyone. Thanks for making it this far and wanting to learn a bit more about me.

I live in Coppell, TX with my beautiful and supportive wife Stephanie and our kids Allie, Cooper and Austin. I have been coaching, mentoring, and supporting people in their pursuits in endurance sports for 10 years and consider it to be an honor to partner with athletes and to be a part of their journey. I am USA Triathlon Certified Coach and an IRONMAN Certified Coach and I have served as an official IRONMAN Staff Coach at IRONMAN Texas in 2016, 2017, and 2018, at IRONMAN Boulder in 2016, and at IRONMAN 70.3 Texas in 2016 and 2018. I have volunteered at dozens of events throughout my years as a coach partnering with many Triathlon and Running Clubs in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and across Texas. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and experience with people to help them navigate their way into endurance athletics.

My passion for sport and coaching is driven by my own journey to health and wellness through running and triathlon. I am a two-time IRONMAN, a Boston Marathon finisher, and has finished eight IRONMAN 70.3 Events. “Retired” from long course triathlon after a significant bike accident, I still enjoy being active through my passion for mountain biking and continue to strength train. I have served as a member of the Gatorade Endurance Race Team for six years and loved his two year term as a lululemon Ambassador.
