Episode 50: The half-century mark. Who knew? | Strength training in depth | IRONFIRE ChallengeThe boys hit the half century mark with Episode 50.  Topics vary from the perils of raising millennials to taking the mystery out of triathlon strength and conditioning.  Puberty hits Randy like a armored car filled with quarters and Octane Athletic’s first virtual event, The Ironfire Challenge is discussed in detail.  The dynamic duo also discusses Octane Athletics Training System’s take on the importance of all the organizations in the endurance community and their philosophy based upon the thought that if you help enough people achieve their goals then we will achieve our goals.

Probably the most exciting thing to come out of Octane Athletics since free t-shirts and water bottles, is “The Ironfire Challenge”.  We are putting on a virtual 140.6 distance race that can be completed during the entire month of January.  The faster you finish, the more bragging rights to be had.  Tell your friends, tell your family, tell the mailman… challenge people in your life to start off 2016 with steps towards a healthier life.  All registrants will receive:

  • a finisher tech t-shirt, and
