Episode 10: Ironman/LifeTime Kona Rant | Benefits of good run form | Bike training indoors or outdoors

Dave Jimenez Podcast Leave a Comment

z6l54wp4In this episode, Dave starts off with a rant about the fact that Ironman and LifeTime as a part of their new partnership are giving away slots to the Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii as well as three Ironman 70.3 World Championship slots for folks that complete the LifeTime fitness one-hour indoor triathlon. That’s right, you get a chance to go to Kona for a one hour workout.

After the rant, the guys discuss a couple of listener questions. They talk about the benefits of good run form and technique. They also discuss the benefits and advantages of doing bike training indoors on the bike trainer versus outdoors on the roads.

Dave references an article he wrote on the dfwtriclub.com blog about the advantages of mountain bike training as an alternative to tri or road biking. That article can be found here.
